Annette earned an M.S. degree in oceanography from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR. She began her career in ocean education / outreach
at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as Education Lead for the TOPEX/Poseidon Mission. She is currently the Education Manager for the NASA
Aquarius satellite mission, Director of the Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence - Ocean Systems, and a member of the COSEE
Council (Chair 2008-09).
